According to Sensor Tower, Genshin Impact from miHoYo generated $393 million during the first two months since it launched on September 28, 2020. Genshin Impact ranked No.2 worldwide in revenue-generating mobile game. On average the game earned more than $6 million a day. China ranked No. 1 for player spending, followed by Japan and the United States. Majority of the player spending came from the Apple’s App Store(57.5% of revenue), followed by Google Play (42.5% of revenue). The article only account for the mobile versions of the game. I am sure the game also generated a sizeable profits on other platforms.
