Within the same day, Microsoft released the world premiere reveal trailer.
The release date will be on November 10, 2020 with the retail price at 299 USD (approx. 395 CAD).
The Specs of the Xbox Series S:
- All-Digital
- 1440p at up to 120 FPS
- Direct X Raytracing
- Variable rate shading
- Variable refresh rate
- Ultra-low latency
- Custom 512 GB SSD
- 4K streaming media playback
- 4K upscaling for games
Microsoft has yet to announce the release date of the Xbox Series X. Although the Xbox Series S is less then $400 CAD, I may just wait for the Xbox Series X. I still prefer to have some of my games in physical disc. Also I would like the console to be able to output 4K at 60fps or up to 120fps rather than 4K upscaling.
